Does your child want to give Irish Dance a try but fall was just too busy?
Fall Intro to Irish Dance
Discover the rhythm, joy & confidence of Irish dance this autumn!
This fall, give your child a fresh, fun activity with our 8-week Intro to Irish Dance class (for ages 6-17). No previous experience or special shoes required—just bring their curiosity and energy!
At McGovern Irish Dance, we believe dance is more than steps: it’s about community, confidence, and connection. Our welcoming, upbeat environment helps young dancers
build balance, coordination, and stamina in a lively way,
make friends, feel supported and celebrated,
experience a taste of Irish culture and music through movement.
What to expect
Over eight weeks, your dancer will:
learn foundational Irish dance rhythms and steps (the fun “1-2-3s”, the “7’s”, basic drills)
improve posture, coordination, body awareness — skills that carry well beyond dance
work together and solo, boosting teamwork, focus and personal confidence
enjoy themed activities—think music, craft, movement—to make class lively and memorable
cap the session with a short demo performance for family & friends, and receive a certificate of completion
Why join this fall?
Active, engaging fun — Irish dance gives an exciting cardio-boost plus rhythm, strength and flexibility in each class.
