Welcome to McGovern Irish Dance!

At McGovern Irish Dance, we believe that every dancer, regardless of age or experience, has the potential to excel. Whether you’re stepping into your first class or training for elite-level competition, we provide expert instruction in a positive and supportive environment.

Home to National Champions, a World Champion, and numerous Regional and Local titleholders, our school is dedicated to developing well-rounded dancers who are confident, skilled, and connected to the rich tradition of Irish dance.

  • Ages 2-5 – McGovern Mini Jigs

    A fun, playful introduction to Irish dance through movement, rhythm, and music. Perfect for tiny dancers who love to move!

  • Beginner & Recreational Classes

    Designed for new dancers of all ages, these classes focus on fundamentals, technique, and a love for Irish dance without the pressure of competition.

  • Competitive Training (Beginner to Championship)

    For dancers who want to take their skills to the next level, we offer structured training with goal-focused coaching to prepare for local, national, and international feiseanna.

  • Adult Irish Dance

    Whether you’re a beginner or a returning dancer, enjoy the fun and fitness of Irish dance!

Our dancers perform at incredible cultural events like the Dayton Celtic Festival, Celtic Fest Ohio, A World A’Fair, Troy Festival of Nations, and Global Fest in Lafayette, IN. We believe Irish dance is about more than just steps—it’s about connection, culture, and community.
