October 16, 2021 Port Huron Michigan Seven McGovern Irish Dance members travelled to Port Huron MI for the Shannon Irish Dance Academy's Halloween Open Feis! It was an amazing event held at the McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Center. Our dancers brought home a total of 32 awards including 10 FIRST places, and memories of fun adventures and time spent with friends new and old doing something they enjoy! Special congrats! MIDI Performance Alert We have been asked to exhibit at the First Friday Lafayette on Nov 5. I will need dancers available for demos and performances as well as parents to help work the booth. (parents will need black pink white outfits or MID gear to work the booth) Our event area will be near Long Theatre or Duncan Hall, that has yet to be determined.
