Summer Session Requirements – Competitive Dancers

☀️ Summer Camps Are Here!
Our summer camps are the perfect fit for dancers who are still building their foundation—especially those working through their beginner reel or looking to strengthen technique and footwork. These camps focus on the details that matter most at the beginner level, helping dancers feel more confident, more comfortable, and more consistent in their steps.
Whether your dancer is newer to Irish dance or just wants extra time to really get it, this is a fun, supportive way to grow, improve, and enjoy time in the studio over the summer. 🍀
☘️ St. Patrick’s Day Workshop – Coming Soon!
Get ready to level up your dancing just in time for the most exciting season of the year! Our St. Patrick’s Day Workshop is designed to help dancers feel confident, strong, and performance-ready—whether they’re stepping onto the competition stage or dancing in front of a crowd.

Dancers ages 13+ will especially benefit as this set is often required for competitions
Younger or less experienced dancers are absolutely welcome to join if they’re ready for the challenge!
📍 How it works:
Dayton & Troy dancers will participate in person
Indiana dancers may join virtually via Google Meet (and are always welcome to attend in Dayton if they’d like!)

Parking at the Dayton Studio
Dart leagues are starting up at the Shamrock Club next to the Dayton studio. Their busiest nights are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with members typically arriving around 6:30 PM.
Because parking will be more limited on those evenings, we kindly ask all families to plan for drop-off and pick-up rather than waiting in the parking lot. There will not be space available for lingering during class times.
Monday adult dancers are welcome to park down the alley where Shelagh typically parks. Just keep my space open.
Thank you in advance for helping us keep traffic flowing smoothly and safely for everyone!

👣 A Friendly Reminder: Who Belongs in the Studio?
We absolutely love how supportive our dance families are — it means so much! 💕
However, during class time, only dancers enrolled in that class should be in the studio.
If you’re not the one dancing, please relax in the waiting area or come back to pick up your dancer at the end of class. Our studio space is cozy, and even the best cheerleaders can become little distractions when class is in session.
We know how special it is to see your dancer’s progress, which is why we schedule Visitor Days, Parent Peek-Ins, and even Facebook Lives in our private Parents’ Group throughout the year — so you won’t miss a thing!
When you are invited into the studio, please sit quietly and let the instructors lead. Coaching, correcting, or offering feedback — no matter how well-intentioned — can pull focus from the dancers and their learning.
Thank you for helping us keep class time focused, positive, and full of the joy of dance! ☘️💚
