Getting started should feel simple. Fill out the quick form below and choose the location that works best for your family. Because trial spots are limited in each studio, submitting this form is the fastest way to get connected to the right class.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. New dancers are welcome. A free class is the easiest way to get comfortable and see if the class is a good fit.

  • McGovern Irish Dance offers classes from ages 2 through adult, including preschool, beginner, recreational, competitive, and adult options.

  • ‍ ‍No—participation is completely optional. Dancers are welcome to enjoy classes without performing or competing.

    That said, we highly recommend it! Performances and competitions help build confidence, create friendships, give dancers goals to work toward, and make the experience even more fun and rewarding.

  • Comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a willingness to try something new are enough for most first-time dancers.
