We’re excited to announce our Winter Class Feis, a supportive, studio-based competition experience designed to help dancers build confidence, polish performances, and gain valuable feis experience in a low-pressure, encouraging environment.

The Winter Class Feis gives dancers the opportunity to perform independently, learn the flow and etiquette of a feis, and apply the skills developed during winter training. It’s an ideal stepping stone for new dancers and those interested in competing, while also helping more experienced dancers refine technique, consistency, and stage presence.

While this event does not offer the opportunity to level up for competition, dancers may be eligible to level into new dances or classes based on their results and readiness following the event. This allows dancers to continue progressing within the studio while keeping the focus on growth and development.

All dancers entered into Nationals are required to participate, and dancers from all McGovern Irish Dance studio locations are strongly encouraged to join. The Winter Class Feis helps prepare dancers for spring feisanna, festival performances, and the season ahead—while celebrating progress, effort, and the joy of Irish dance.

🍴 Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and Bock Family Brewing’s menu looks fantastic—making it a wonderful afternoon for dancers, families, and supporters alike.
