Letâs take a spin through everything that made this spring one to remember!
âď¸ A Month of March Magic: St. Patrickâs Day Season
Why celebrate St. Patrickâs Day on just one day when you can celebrate all month long? McGovern dancers brought the Irish spirit to over 20 performances across Ohio and Indiana throughout March. From schools and senior centers to pubs, parades, and private parties, our dancers dazzled crowds and spread cheer everywhere they went.
Highlights included:
March 8: Carroll High School's St. Patâs Show & the AOH Party
March 13â14: Performances at Lutheran Life Villages and Legacy Village
March 15: A marathon day of dancing with shows at Amvets, Indian Lake Moose, Eagles (Indian Lake), Moeller Brew Barn (Maria Stein), the Shamrock Shindig in Troy, and Wandering Griffin (7â11PM!)
March 16: Irish vibes flowed at the American Czech Club and Harriganâs
March 17: The big day! Our dancers hit seven venues including Montessori Kettering, Flanaganâs, Learning Center West, Dublin Pub Main Stage, The Pub at the Greene, the Shamrock Club, and a private party with longtime MID friend Maggie Lowden
March 19: We wrapped it up with a heartwarming performance at St. Paul Catholic Church
Our dancers of all ages brought joy, tradition, and high energy to every stage and audience, big or small. It was a true celebration of the culture we love to share.

March 24: Adult Trial Class in Dayton
May 29: Our "Jump In and Jig" event gave curious new dancers a taste of the magic. Thereâs nothing like seeing a dancer light up when they land their very first 7s!
đ A World AâFair: Sharing Irish Culture With Pride
At Daytonâs A World AâFair (May 2â4), our dancers proudly represented Irish heritage in one of the cityâs largest cultural festivals. We took the stage six times over the weekend, performing for enthusiastic and diverse audiences on both the Formal and Interactive stages.
From quick-footed solos to engaging ceili dances, we shared the story of Irish dance with flair and passion!
đś Celtic Crush: Dancing With Purpose
On May 14, we joined forces with Moe Harriganâs Pub for a day of music and dance supporting the Dayton Celtic Festival. With performances at both Noon and 6:30 PM, our dancers brought high energy and heart to this beloved community event.
